PARIZ- Kijevu nije potrebno prisustvo francuskog vojnog osoblja, izjavio je predsjednik Ukrajine Volodimir Zelenski.
Zelenski je u intervjuu za francusku televiziju BFM rekao da sve dok Ukrajina izdržava, francuska vojska može ostati na francuskoj teritoriji.
-Vaša djeca neće ginuti u Ukrajini. Ako Rusija dođe u sukob sa nekom NATO zemljom, vaša djeca mogu biti poslata u neku od zemalja NATO-a, ali to će već biti drugačija situacija – dodao je predsjednik Ukrajine.
Zelenski je, međutim, rekao da, iako Ukrajina nije dio Sjevernoatlantske alijanse, on “ne vidi ništa loše” u slanju stranog vojnog i tehničkog osoblja da bi se obučavali pripadnici Oružanih snaga Ukrajine i popravljalo ukrajinsko naoružanje.
Zelenski je ponovio da se Ukrajina suočava sa poteškoćama zbog nedostatka artiljerijskih granata, vazdušne blokade, ruskih raketa dugog dometa i velikog broja ruskih dronova.
Francuski predsjednik Emanuel Makron krajem februara je izjavio da će Pariz učiniti sve da spriječi Rusiju da “pobijedi u ratu sa Ukrajinom”.
Prema njegovim riječima, lideri zapadnih zemalja su razgovarali o mogućnosti slanja trupa u Ukrajinu, ali, kako je rekao, još nije postignut konsenzus o tom pitanju.
Zvaničnici mnogih evropskih zemalja su, nakon ove izjave Makrona, rekli da nema govora o prebacivanju vojnog osoblja u Ukrajinu.
Njemački kancelar Olaf Šolc i ministar odbrane Boris Pistorijus su naglasili da Njemačka neće slati svoje trupe u Ukrajinu, a Šolc je dodatno pojasnio da zemlje NATO u cjelini to neće učiniti.
Komentarišući izjavu francuskog predsjednika, zvanična Moskva je upozorila da bi takav razvoj događaja neminovno doveo do direktnog vojnog sukoba Rusije i NATO-a.
